Bio:

After graduating from Whitman College with a BA in Peace & Conflict Studies, Laura participated in HIA Denmark and taught in La Réunion, a French island near Madagascar. She then worked as Director of Cooperative Development for the Rwanda Knits Project in Kigali, where she helped Rwandan women establish their own craft cooperatives. Most recently, Laura returned to her roots in rural Ohio and co-organized Stone's Throw Market food co-op. Laura is now pursuing her passion for cooperative development through a Master of Public Affairs program at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.
