Bio:

Ola, Brian thoroughly enjoys talking in the third person, and is currently a sociologist in training in the PhD program at Chicago. Brian received a Masters degree in The Study of Religion as a Clarendon scholar from Oxford in 2010. Before this, Brian worked as a legal assistant in NYC, Dublin, and Washington DC. These experiences, taken cumulatively, convinced Brian that the legal world was not for him. Before this Brian received a BA from The University of Rochester in 2007 where he was a top lad and played varsity soccer. Brian is interested in many things and would welcome conversations about any of the following topics: life; religion in the modern world; the future of religion; theories of religion; the history of Christianity; religion in America; religious systems of powerful intellectuals (particularly Tolstoy and Dostoevsky); higher education in the United States.
