Zvijezdana is a human rights activist, lawyer, blogger from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She started her engagement in the civil society sector in 2009, participating at the Youth Leadership Program at Salem (Oregon, USA), where she learned about rhetoric and debate. From 2010 she became active in the non-governmental sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she worked as a multiplier at Fund For Youth Projects on the selection and monitoring of the youth-led projects from rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After that, she was a project manager at Youth Press Association on the issues of free media space for youth. She participated in 2013 on the Erasmus exchange program in Graz (Austria) in area of international human rights law. She is the author of many articles and legal publications, among which she examined the international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was employed in Foundation United Women Banja Luka, where the focus of her work was free legal aid aimed at enabling access to court for women victims of gender based violence. She also worked as a legal researcher for the international platform Lawyr.it. She is a senior fellow at Women's Human Rights Training Institute, where she graduated on international women's human rights legal mechanism. Currently she is working as project coordinator at Helsinki Citizens' Assembly in projects related to gender perspective in integration processes of Bosnia and Herzegovina to European Union and also on projects related to inter-ethnic reconciliation among youth.
