Mil Dranoff just completed a year of service with AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps, where she worked as a Community Service Coordinator for the Washington DC Jewish Community Center. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures. She served as the Midwest Representative to the J Street U National Student Board, representing thirteen campus chapters and advocating for a two state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Mil has studied abroad in Jerusalem and has led tours through Israel and the West Bank to raise awareness of the realities of the conflict. She has also worked at the Education for Peace in Iraq Center to promote peace and youth empowerment in Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan. At Wash U, she was a proud participant in The Vagina Monologues and continues to fight to end violence against women. In her free time, Mil enjoys playing the flute, cooking delicious food and riding her bike.
