Jenny Tsai is a rising first year student at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine from Okemos, Michigan. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a double concentration in Health & Human Biology and Ethnic Studies. Her academic interests lie largely in the intersection between race, medicine, and healthcare. Her previous research at MD Anderson Cancer Center focuses on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and B-Cell Malignancies. At school, Jenny served as a community builder, student mentor as a Women's Peer Counselor, a Meiklejohn peer adviser, undergraduate Teaching Assistant, and Minority Recruitment Intern in Brown University’s Admissions Office. She was a co-captain of Brown’s club tennis team, loves all things dance-related, and enjoys traveling, taking pictures, and eating.
