Stine, a 2014 Humanity in Action Fellow, obtained her BA in History from the University of Copenhagen, focussing on modern Middle Eastern, and in particular, Israeli history and society. Her interest in the conflicts of the Middle East led her to undertake an MSc in Security Studies at University College London, School of Public Policy from which she graduated in September 2015. While studying Stine worked for a research library in Copenhagen and in London she volunteered for NGOs that focus, amongst others, on issues of development and rights. Stine is particularly interested in the intersection of minority rights, governance and security, and in the summer of 2015 she was selected as a participant of the Global Minority Rights Summer School coorganised by the Tom Lantos Institute, Middlesex University London and the National University of Public Service, Budapest. From February to April 2016 Stine took part in the Pat Cox HIA Fellowship at the European Parliament, interning in the office of MEP Norica Nicolai (ALDE). At present she is undertaking an MSc in European Affairs at Lund University, Sweden.
