Najma Ahmed Hussein



Najma Ahmed Hussein recently graduated with an MPA from Sciences Po Toulouse, and currently reads Public Law at University Toulouse 1 Capitole. She worked previously as an assistant at the Legislation Department of the Office of the French Secretary of Government. Prior to that, she worked at the Office of Public Prosecution of Djibouti Court of First Instance where she conducted research for the legal team drafting the national Child Protection Code. She also provided backstop support to small grant projects funded by the UNICEF and the World Bank. As an undergraduate, she interned in law firms and various government agencies. Her areas of interest include conflict resolution and negociation, legal empowerment of marginalized groups and social innovation. Najma was born in Kenya and now resides in France. She is fluent in English, French and Somali.
