Jake Nelson

Jake Nelson is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, originally from Williamsburg, Virginia. He received his MA in European and Russian studies from Yale University in 2014, where he worked as a teaching fellow in the history department and wrote a thesis on François Hollande’s counterterrorism rhetoric. Prior to graduate school, he worked at the Department of State as a specialist on European human rights and multilateral diplomacy. He received a BA in music and French and Francophone studies from the College of William & Mary.
