Bio:

Barbara Joannon is an asylum and migration expert working as EU Advocacy Officer at Forum réfugiés-Cosi and Coordinator of the European Project TRACKS- identification of TRafficked Asylum seeKers’ Special needs. As EU Advocacy Officer she represents the organisation at the European level within the European Council for Refugees and Exiles, the European Network on Statelessness but also within the different civil society platforms including the EU civil society platform against Trafficking in Human Beings. She is graduated from the Institute of Political Sciences in Lyon in international relations, governance and project management. Before joining Forum réfugiés-Cosi, she has built up her experience in Brussels at the European Parliament, the Joint Migration and Development Initiative – UNDP and the European Migration Network. Inherently open-minded and curious, Barbara loves evolving in a multicultural environment and this has been reinforced thanks to her travels across Europe, the U.S. and North Africa. She currently lives in Paris and love frequently catching up with other Senior Fellows!
