Isabelle is an enthusiastic HiA senior fellow with knowledge and experience in protection and human rights together with a track record of advocacy, managing projects, campaigning and training in emergency and crisis contexts. She worked in United Nations peacekeeping, with INGOs and with businesses in diverse settings such as Lebanon on the response to the Syrian crisis, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as a monitor of human rights violations, in Brazil on national social responsibility projects and also in Chad, Mexico and Peru. Born in Paris with a Lebanese and Croatian background, Isabelle graduated in International Relations and Human Rights from the Sorbonne and the European inter-university centre in Italy. She was a fellow in Paris in 2006, the co-founder of the HiA France Senior Fellows Network and participated in the HIA study trip to Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2010.
