Rachel is a Policy and Advocacy Officer working on issues of global protection and resettlement at the International Rescue Committee.Previously, she was the Director of Special Projects at the Center on National Security at Fordham Law and a Special Assistant at the Council on Foreign Relations. Rachel was previously an active volunteer with WINGS AND ROOTS, a transmedia educational project that centers on migration, citizenship, and belonging. Rachel received her MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at the University of Oxford where her research focused on the criminalization of humanitarian assistance to irregular migrants. She received her BA in international relations and French language and literature from the George Washington University.
