Amaya Bloch-Lainé


Amaya Bloch-Lainé is a Senior Coordinator for the Social Media Center’s project, Ecole Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Mrs. Bloch-Lainé began her career as a researcher in strategic affairs at the Ecole Polytechnique. She researched politico- strategic affairs for over eight years and also supported the development of financial partnerships with similar organizations in Europe and the United States. Passionate about transatlantic affairs she created and led the French office of an American non-profit organization, the German Marshall Fund of the United States. The mission of the organization is to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and experience between the United States and Europe on political and economic issues, mainly through the funding of research projects and high-level political meetings. After this she joined the Women's Forum, in charge of programs and relationships with partners. Mrs. Bloch-Lainé has considerable expertise, including in the corporate sector with Havas Worldwide where her primary mission was to create programs and provide funding for major events. She graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in public service and international relations.
