After two years of "classes préparatoires littéraires aux grandes écoles" with a specialization in Anglo-American literature and civilization, Maryne entered Sorbonne-Nouvelle University to complete her bachelor's degree in European Studies. Maryne is currently working on a masters in International Relations at Panthéon-Sorbonne University with a strong desire to specialize in International Law (especially Human Rights), conflict resolution, and development issues, especially in the African continent. Maryne has been involved in different NGOs in France and abroad. She has worked with a local Togolese NGO focusing on local development in poor villages, as well as acquired experience in political advocacy through her internship at CONCORD (Brussels): the European NGO confederation for Relief and Development that engages political dialogue with European institutions concerning development policies. She worked more specifically on the partnership between CONCORD and Southern NGO platforms especially in West Africa. Maryne is currently volunteering for Amnesty International France as a coordinator for Africa generally and for Mali, Niger, and Mauritania specifically.
