Annette Mehlhorn

Annette Mehlhorn graduated from Freie Universität Berlin in 2012 with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy. Her academic interests lie in the field of political theory and in the specific questions of identity, power, inclusion, and exclusion. Furthermore, she has a regional focus on Latin America. After graduating from secondary school, Annette spent a year in Chile and Argentina where she worked in a political party and in an indigenous community. During her BA studies, she returned to Latin America, doing an internship in the Goethe Institute in Bolivia. In 2010, Annette spent a semester at the University of Manchester. She is additionally involved in a number of groups concerning human rights, intercultural understanding, and refugees. In the fall of 2012, Annette will start an MA in Political Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
