Noa Oldak grew up in Los Angeles, California. She recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A in Anthropology and minors in English, Spanish, and Human rights. Noa has been involved in various humanitarian groups including STAND (an anti-genocide student coalition), USC Fight On For Darfur, the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles, Jewish World Watch, and Save a Child's Heart. In the past two years she has visited the favellas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the impoverished communities of Buenos Aires, Argentina to do community service work. Her experience and academic background have led her to become most interested in the tension between cultural relativism and human rights. On campus, she is heavily involved in the Jewish community and spends much of her time working on leadership development with the coeducational fraternity, Delta Omicron Zeta.
