Bio:
Born to a Polish Jewish family, Jan grew up in Wroclaw, Poland, where he completed a B.A. in Russian Studies with a minor in Jewish Studies. Upon graduation he worked as a journalist in an independent online newspaper in Grodno, Belarus. After participating in Humanity in Action Summer Fellowship in Berlin in 2011, he decided to deepen his knowledge of the Holocaust and other genocides by getting a Masters degree in the field. Currently he is working towards a M.A. in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa in Israel, working as an accountant at IBM and launching his own association specializing in minority rights and Holocaust education.
