    Throughout his career and academic studies, Jakob has concentrated on issues relating to human rights, humanitarian action, and peace building. As a graduate student at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, he founded Play31, an organization that used sport to bring together people torn apart by the war in Sierra Leone.
