Senior Fellows in the Detroit Fellowship

Connected Reflection by sbmeaper1 (2016)

Role of Senior Fellows

Humanity in Action invites applications from recent Senior Fellows to participate in the 2018 Humanity in Action Fellowship in Detroit, alongside young professionals, current students and recent graduates from Detroit and the state of Michigan, as well as students and recent graduates from several European countries.

Participating Senior Fellows in the Detroit Fellowship will have a second opportunity to take part in a Fellowship experience. As returning Fellows, Humanity in Action expects Senior Fellows to make a special contribution to the program and to help welcome a new cohort of Fellows into the Humanity in Action network. We seek Senior Fellows who have knowledge, skills and professional experience in the core areas of focus for the Detroit Fellowship – urban policy, democratic inclusion, equitable development, social entrepreneurship and public health.

In the application, we instruct Senior Fellows to discuss the contributions they would like to make to the Detroit Fellowship. Please feel welcome to contact Anthony Chase to discuss your interest in the program.

To be eligible to apply, Senior Fellows must have:

  • Participated in their original Fellowship program as U.S. Fellows;
  • Graduated from an undergraduate degree program in 2015 or later; and
  • Completed their Action Projects

Senior Fellows from the United State who completed their undergraduate studies in a foreign university are eligible to apply. We strongly encourage applications from Senior Fellows who have a demonstrated interest in, and commitment toward contributing in the fields of entrepreneurship, economic and community development and public health.

To apply, please submit Humanity in Acton's online application form. The deadline to apply is 11:59PM PST on January 8, 2018. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Apply here.
