When should I arrive?

The conference will open with a reception and keynote address at 17.00 on the evening of Thursday, June 27.

When should I leave?

The conference program ends the evening of Saturday, June 29. However, we invite all conference participants to participate in an optional series of site visits on Sunday, June 30, including trips within Warsaw and a visit to the Treblinka memorial site. Those wishing to depart Warsaw on the evening on Sunday, June 30 will be able to participate in the Warsaw-based site visits.  Those wishing to participate in the Treblinka site visit should plan on departing on the morning of Monday, July 1.

When is the Senior Fellows Reunion Dinner?

The 2013 Senior Fellows Reunion Dinner will begin at 20.00 on Friday, June 28.

Where will the conference be held?

Most conference activities will be at the Musuem of the History of Polish Jews, with some meals and social events held nearby.

I'm an Humanity in Action Senior Fellow.  Where should I stay? 

Housing is available at Hotel Campanile for Senior Fellows at heavily discounted rates.  This hotel is part of the same complex where the 2013 Humanity in Action Felllows will be staying.  To learn more about making hotel reservations, please click here.

I'm an Humanity in Action Board member or guest of Humanity in Action.  Where should I stay?

What does my registration fee cover?

Your fee covers the cost of participation in all workshops, discussions, site visits and the 2013 Senior Fellows Reunion Dinner.  It also covers lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Are there travel subsidies or fee waivers?

Yes, there is limited support available to help Humanity in Action Senior Fellows attend the conference. Travel subsidies will be based on a first come first served basis, so please note that HIA may not be able to honor all requests. Please click here to fill out the form to submit your request. The deadline to submit this form is May 12. Please note that we will support 50% of the cost of travel to Warsaw, with a maximum level of support of 125 Euros for those traveling from a European country and 250 Euros for those traveling from the United States. 

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. Humanity in Action welcomes you to bring a partner, spouse, colleague or friend who would enjoy participating in the International Conference. Please note that guests must purchase a separate ticket to attend the conference. Senior Fellows may contact Pamela Rykowski at p.rykowski@humanityinaction.org to receive a discount code for their guests.

Will Humanity in Action be providing me with transportation around Warsaw? 

Humanity in Action will provide limited pick-up service from the Warsaw airport and bus travel in the mornings from the Golden Tulip hotel complex to the conference location.

When can I register for workshops and discussions?

Registration will open in mid-June for individual workshops and discussions.

When will the program schedule be available?

The full program schedule will be released in June.

Is there a cancelation policy?  

Upon request, Humanity in Action will refund registration fees if a cancelation is requested before June 1.
