Rizwana Channir is cand.jur. from the University of Southern Denmark (2019) with a focus on human rights and EU law. She is a Senior Fellow from the 2013 Copenhagen Fellowship and a Pat Cox Fellow at the EU Parliament from 2015. Besides her commitment to Humanity in Action, Rizwana has represented Denmark at One Young World summits and other human rights related conferences around the world. Rizwana has recently been part of the VoteEuropa-project as a Democracy Fellow to increase voter turnout for the Eurpean Parliament elections in May 2019.
