Máté Zsédely-Holler was born in Győr, Hungary, and is currently studying Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. Máté is a Jewish student professional who has partnered with a number of organizations around the world to represent and advocate for Jewish people. He is currently a Ronald S. Lauder Fellow at the World Jewish Congress, the world’s largest diplomatic federation of Jewish communities and organizations. Besides his studies, he created the Campus branch of Oy Vey, an organization that connects people, ideas, and different expressions of contemporary Jewish culture regardless of religious denominations by providing a vibrant, progressive, and inclusive environment for university students. His research interests include religious polarization, forms of contemporary political anti-Semitism, and the history of political thought.
