Marnie Imhoff is Vice President for Development at The Rockefeller University. She heads a thirty member staff charged with raising $80 million a year in private funds in support of biomedical research at Rockefeller. Marnie has headed Rockefeller’s Development Program since 1990. She is a member of the University’s Executive Officers Group and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee. Prior to Rockefeller, Marnie worked at Union Theological Seminary in New York City as Associate Director of Development. Marnie received a B.A. in history from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1977. She went on to study religion and philosophy at Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, Massachusetts before moving to New York in 1980. Marnie is a graduate of “Leadership New York,” a civic leadership program sponsored by the Coro Foundation and The New York City Partnership. She is a member of the Board of Humanity in Action, and also served on the Board of The New York Academy of Sciences for six years, where she continues to be an active member. She is on the Board of Directors of Humanity in Action, Inc.
