Liam is a recent Master of International Affairs graduate from the Hertie school where he specialized in development and human rights. He holds a BA in International Relations and previously studied at Jacobs University, Bremen, and the University of Edinburgh. In recent years, he has worked as an Associate Fellow at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) on facilitating accessible learning for a global community of development practitioners and managing knowledge products around the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Previously, he also worked on cross-sectoral development cooperation on good governance and transparency at a local civil society in Bratislava, Slovakia. Liam’s fields of interest include refugee protection and migration policy, participatory development, and inter-sectional advocacy. Liam finds great inspirations from a plethora of culinary traditions and he is also a digital artist in experiment photography that critically examines and re-imagines the construction of identities.
