During her studies, Krishnaveni (Veeni) Naganathar had been working as a research assistant at the Migration Law department of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for three years. After her internship at a law firm (Prakken D’Oliviera), she continued to work there as a paralegal in the asylum and immigration law department. In the summer of 2011, Veeni worked on a project at the Advisory Committee on Migration Affairs. Currently, she works as a lecturer at the Migration Law department of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
