Josephine Landertinger Forero – Colombian, born 1983 (in Portugal). Graduated in Film and Communication from Freie Universität Berlin, 2007. Specialized in German post-war cinema, Italian Neorealism and documentary film. “The First Dance” (El Primer Baile) won Special Jury Mention for representation of disabilities on screen at WeCam Fest 2020. Nomination for Best Colombian Documentary 2017 and several other prizes for “Home – the country of illusion”, a reflection about migration and the sense of belonging. BeBerlinternational Recognition of the City of Berlin in 2011 for efforts in migrant’s integration for her documentary “Boundless” (Grenzenlos) about the lives of three binational couples. Josephine works between Bogotá and Barcelona as a director, producer and author focusing on gender equality, minorities, human rights and social issues. Member of the Colombian Academy of Motion Pictures, member of Dones Visuals, European Women’s Audiovisual Network, CIMA and Girls Club Women & Hollywood. Founder of Global Eyes Production and the online platform for gender equality in Iberoamerican film that is called “Acción Mujeres“.
