Greg Guggenmos is a Statistical Consultant and Program Manager in Law & Statistics at the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center in Dallas, Texas, where he provides quantitative research and advocacy around indigent defense, prosecutorial reform, and rural justice initiatives. He aspires to thoughtfully work at the intersection of public policy, technology, and data science. In 2019, he completed a dual B.S/M.S. in Applied Statistics and Data Analytics at SMU. Greg loves to travel and explore new cities and was fortunate enough to study abroad three times while at SMU. A life-long resident of Dallas, Greg spent a year in the Texas Legislature advocating for legislation to protect educational rights and opportunities for all Texans. In addition to his work at the Deason Center, Greg founded and was the executive director of the Community Bail Fund of North Texas. Greg is also an avid reader, ultimate frisbee player, and rock climber.
