Fọláṣadé Ajayi

Fọláṣadé Ajayi is a social scientist and human rights advocate. She studied at Humboldt University Berlin and Université Libre de Bruxelles. She works on German and European anti-discrimination, migration and integration policies. As a consultant, she offers trainings on various topics including intersectionality, anti-racism and diversity. She previously worked at Humboldt University’s department Diversity and Social Conflict for several years before being elected to serve on the university’s staff council. In that role, Fọláṣadé addressed issues touching upon diversity and anti-discrimination. Moreover, she gained experience working at the Federal AntiDiscrimination Agency’s research department as well as at the advocacy department of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR). Additionally, Fọláṣadé is a board member of the Initiative Black People in Germany (ISD e.V.) where she pushes for an anti-racist and feminist society. She represented the organization at conferences and various events in New York, Toronto, Strasbourg, Brussels, Vienna and Dublin. Fọláṣadé took part in the Copenhagen Humanity in Action Fellowship in 2016.
