Gino Nuzzolillo (he/him) is an advocate and organizer based in North Carolina, USA. As a student at Duke University, he studied histories of community organizing, social movements, and urban development in the American South. He also organized around prison abolition, poverty and housing, and environmental racism with organizations like the Community Empowerment Fund, The Bronx Defenders, and the Center for Rural Enterprise and Environmental Justice. Since graduating, he has worked for structural democracy reform at Democracy North Carolina and supported Southern organizing and movement lawyering at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice. Community and relationships drive what he does.
Gino also likes reading, embroidery, traveling, and bears.
