Dimitris Kastritis

Article

Dimitrios Kastritis grew up in Distomo, Greece. He has studied political science and, after completing his military service (2014 to 2015) on the island of Lesvos, he enrolled at Leiden University, Netherlands in order to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the MA level. Through his studies, he developed a critical mode of analysis in contemporary issues of economics and democracy. Dimitrios thus decided to write a research- oriented thesis on the issue of science in the thought of Friedrich Nietzsche and Max Weber. Returning to Greece in June 2017, he assisted as a volunteer in Golden Dawn’s trial, intending to contribute to its publicity. He frequently participates as a MA student in a Nietzsche Research Seminar in Leiden run by Dr. H.W. Siemens and Dr. Frank Chouraqui. He wants to expand his academic interests further and has also served as an editor for music-related websites.
