Diana Sosa

Diana Sosa is originally from Centreville, Virginia and is a proud graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where she focused on Latin American studies and international development. During undergrad, Diana studied a semester in Ecuador, participated in the United States Foreign Service Internship Program, conducted research on domestic workers, and interned for Senator Mark Warner. She is now teaching English in Mallorca, Spain through their North American Language and Culture Assistantship Program and has recently been awarded a 2021-22 Fulbright grant to Linz, Austria to explore the intersections of gender, migration, and labor. Despite living abroad, Diana is actively working to improve support for first generation students in her school district through her initiative; FCPS NextGen. In addition to a deep passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures, Diana loves hiking, dancing bachta, and searching for the best cappuccino in town.
