David Jatta holds a BA in social work and is planning to pursue an MA in Gender Studies in Berlin. In his research, he explores subject formation processes in black masculinity and European identity. Over the past few years, he experimented with intersectional approaches to pedagogical work and is an advocate of expanding pedagogical methods to the spheres of political activism. David conceptualizes and executes workshops on colonialism, racism, gender, anti-discrimination and empowerment for youth and adult education.
