Christine Yu is a Taiwanese-American researcher and expert in the human resources space. After the John Lewis Fellowship, she was inspired to learn coding and data analytics to drive conversations about racial equity. She worked as a consultant for multi-national companies where she analyzed pay and promotion inequities by gender and ethnicities, presented to business leaders on how systemic inequality can bias company policies, and recommended actions to close those gaps. Christine currently works as a consultant, focusing on the external labor market and demographics. She studies job markets around the world and ways to remove obstacles to job opportunities for historically underrepresented communities. She has published research and articles with Google on the COVID19 pandemic’s disproportionate effects on women.
