Dr. Carlo Jordan, born 1951, was a member of the East German opposition movement. As a civil rights and environmental activist, he co-founded the Green Party in the GDPR in 1989. From 1994 to 1995 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives. Presently, he is on the board of the “Forschungs- und Gedenkstätte Normannenstraße”, the Memorial and Research Center located at the former “STASI” headquarter. Several of his activities focus on awareness-raising against “Ostalgia”.
