Arne Muis studied Liberal arts in Middelburg and Colonial History in London and Leiden. In 2017 he participated in the Amsterdam Fellowship, after which he joined the Senior Fellow Network Board as secretary. He currently works as a policy officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to this position, he worked as a strategic policy advisor to Amnesty International. In addition to his daily activities, he is a member of the Works Council at the Ministry, and writes book reviews for the Clingendael Spectator.
