European Fellowship Programs

Fellowship Programs with Greek Participants: Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen and Warsaw

As European societies become increasingly diverse with an influx of immigrant populations, the tensions and challenges of respecting diversity while maintaining core social and cultural values has come to the forefront of public debate.

The Humanity in Action Fellowships explore Europe’s unique history during the Second World War and the Holocaust along with contemporary issues related to minority groups in the continent. Key areas of inquiry include national identity, (post)colonialism, immigration, xenophobia, Islamophobia, Antisemitism, racism, political extremism and discrimination of Roma -- all seen through the specific lens of the country the Fellowship takes place in.

Although each of the Fellowship programs promote team research and debate on human rights and social justice in democratic societies, the scope and focus of the programs differ in each city of participation.

Humanity in Action invites Greek participants to apply for the European Fellowship programs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen and Warsaw.
