Details

Article

Landecker Democracy Fellow Catherine Neilan’s podcast Making Common Ground launched in January 2021. Catherine, a journalist who currently serves as Politics Live Editor at the Telegraph, created this podcast with the goal of creating in-depth conversations amongst different groups of people.

Throughout the month of April, Catherine has launched two brand new episodes of Making Common Ground.

In episode 13, Catherine interviews science journalist Tom Chivers about why it pays people to express views they don’t necessarily hold, and how mainstream media interacts with social media. (Listen: Apple | Spotify)

In the following episode 14, the Making Common Ground focus group appears on the podcast again to discuss WallpaperGate, sleaze and whether people trust either Boris Johnson or Dominic Cummings (- or neither!). (Listen: Apple | Spotify)
