In a recent episode of her podcast Beaumont HouseCall, Landecker Fellow Asha Shajahan interviews Howard Ross, a best-selling author and life long social justice activist. Beaumont HouseCall is a podcast made by doctors to provide accurate discussions about health trends and news. Howard Ross’ publications primarily concern diversity and unconscious biases that affect everyday judgements. This recent episode deals with implicit bias. He explains how stereotypes and preconceived notions influence the ways in which we interact with other people in society. Part two of the interview will be released soon.
