Invitation: Civil Engagement Across Time and Age - A Conversation With Bent Melchior

Details

Article

Once again Humanity in Action have the pleasure of welcoming former Chief Rabbi Bent Melchior to a conversation on his life long civil engagement and what inspired him to his fight for refugees and vulnerable groups in the Danish society: namely his own flight from Nazism in October 1943.

Bent Melchior has most recently published a book with Özlem Cecik, written by Anders Jerichow, about their newly established union, Forening Brobyggerne, which holds Bent Melchior as the Chairman of the Board.
With his big and lifelong civil engagement, his presence, and his delight for telling, it is always an experience to hear Bent speak about his life.
The talk will be in English.
The talk will take place on August 25, 2020 from 3.45pm-5.15pm in Copenhagen.
