Landecker Democracy Fellow and Executive Director of Libraries Without Borders Adam Echelman was featured in the StarTribune article, titled “Fridley storm shelter doubles as learning hub and literacy center.” According to the piece, Libraries Without Borders has offered to partner with Park Plaza Cooperative, a small manufactured home park just off Hwy. 65 in Fridley, to start a library and provide Wi-Fi connections, books, art materials, computers, and iPads.

“Park Plaza could serve as a model for other manufactured home parks. The nonprofit is looking to bring library services to a few such communities in southern Minnesota.” –Adam Echelman
