Jobs Interventions for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons

Details

Article

Refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) often struggle to integrate into the labor markets of the places they arrived in. Even when they have the unrestricted right to work, their labor market outcomes lag behind those of other groups, at least in the short- to medium-term. Senior Fellow Kirsten Schüttler co-authored the working paper “Jobs Interventions for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons” in which she brings together two strands of research to inform the design of successful job interventions in this context.
