Humanity in Action Organizes "Exploring Diversity in France" with the Embassy of France in Washington

Humanity in Action is pleased to announce "Exploring Diversity in France," a special discussion series sponsored by the Embassy of France in Washington, DC.

"Exploring Diversity in France" will take place at four American universities from October 11 to 18, 2011. This program was developed in partnership with Humanity in Action, The New School, Yale University, Georgetown University and the University of Missouri.

"Exploring Diversity in France" will bring together American and French scholars, students and audiences to examine the role and concept of diversity in contemporary France. Speakers include leading experts on France, such as Professor Patrick Weil, Professor Maurice Samuels, Professor Susan Terrio and Professor Miriam Ticktin, and three Senior Fellow representatives of Humanity in Action France—Tara Dickman, Soraya Khadir and Cédric Maréchal—who will share the perspective of a younger generation.
