2011 Lantos-HIA Congressional Fellowship Placements

The Lantos-HIA Congressional Fellowship is a four-month professional fellowship in Washington, DC, supported by Humanity in Action and the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice. The Lantos-HIA Congressional Fellowship is now in its 11th year.

HIA is pleased to announce the 2011 Lantos Fellows and their professional placements:

Jeff Hochstetler - Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY)

Katalin Horváth and Maurits Rade - Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-IL)

Bryan Norrington - Committee on Foreign Affairs, Ileana Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL)

Natalie Chwalisz - Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Human Rights, Rep. Donald Payne (D-NJ)

Mia Pallisgaard Hansen - Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY)

Franziska Seeck - Rep. Grace Napolitano (D-CA)

Adi Cohen - The Huffington Post

The program is named in memory of the late Tom Lantos, former Congressman, Holocaust survivor and human rights champion, and in honor of his wife Annette. The program runs from January 17 through May 20, 2011.
