HIA Senior Fellow Zachary Kaufman Building Rwanda's First-Ever Public Library

HIA Senior Fellow Zachary Kaufman (Denmark ’99, Member, HIA American Planning Board) is founder, president, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of American Friends of the Kigali Public Library, a non-profit organization working with the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga, Rwanda to build and sustain the Kigali Public Library, Rwanda’s first-ever public library.

Above are the latest photographs, taken October 18, 2010, of the Library under construction, along with an architectural rendering of what it will look like when completed.
