Humanity in Action The Netherlands is a registered non-profit and non-governmental association with an independent Board of Directors and an independent Committee of Recommendation.

Humanity in Action The Netherlands follows the VFI directors' remuneration scheme for the national director. Permanent employees follow the collective labour agreement of the VSNU. Board positions are not remunerated.
