Voices from Poland: The Polish Minority Perspective

Details

Article

Inspired by Humanity in Action Poland’s academy on human rights, Voices from Poland is a project aimed at developing an oral history collection of reflections and stories from members of, and academic experts on, the nine national, and four ethnic minority groups recognized by the Polish Ministry of Interior.

Senior Fellows Daniel Jezierski and David Liebers undertook a research project on the tapestry of minority groups that survived the historical trauma of the Second World War, and then Stalinism and continue to live in their own communities in Poland.
