Voices of Atlanta

2019 John Lewis Fellows Brandon Brown, Carolina Marques de Mesquita, Cryssa Mela and Momo Wilms-Crowe spent two days interviewing Atlantians, asking them specifically about the meaning of community and how community has transformed due to. Their presentation was inspired by learning about the effects of gentrification in Atlanta as well as previous engagements with local Atlantians and speakers from the John Lewis Fellowship who remarked that the city was changing.
