As a part of the EDVACAY 2020/21 program cycle closing ceremony, HIA BiH team has brought together Fellows from this program and Game Changers project participants for a two hour game play session during which they have presented the three board games they created over the course of six months.
The Game Changers is an educational and participatory project that uses an innovative educational tool – board games to involve and educate young people in BiH about gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, in the context of civic and democratic engagement within various local communities and in other spheres of public-policy making. Game Changers gathers 12 young people coming from across BiH to develop 3 board games focused on topics such as gender (in)equalities, occupational segregation and gender wage gaps, domestic violence and public gender-based discrimination, under-representation of women in political and economic decision-making processes, other relevant democratic values and/or media literacy related to empowerment of women and girls.
