On Wednesday, March 25 at 12pm EST, Senior Fellow Roo George-Warren will be giving the first webinar in his four-part series Rights and Resistance: the Ongoing Fight for Indigenous Sovereignty

Roo’s first topic, “An Indigenous Person’s History of the United States”, is a whirlwind overview of the United States’ relationship with indigenous peoples told from the perspective of a Catawba person. The talk will focus on a few significant historical events and will help attendees develop models and language for understanding a variety of different colonial contexts and events.
