Defending Euro-Atlantic Values

Capacity Building and Resilience Enhancement through Strengthening Research and Debating Capacities of Young Professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This NATO funded project aims to increase the capacity of Bosnia and Herzegovina NGOs, think tanks, state institutions, the private sector and the youth for the sake of strengthening liberal democracy and economic development by enhancing their skills in research and enrich their knowledge by discussions with experts with strong pro-Transatlantic and European values.

The project aims to increase the resilience of Bosnia and Herzegovina democracy by strengthening the capacity of local NGOs and think-tanks, employees of state institutions, journalists, and young leaders in exploring, analyzing, and addressing both external and internal factors undermining its democratic cohesion.

The “Online Skills Trainings” (altogether 5 separate trainings) will be attended by at least 15 participation at each training, however, the participants may join more than one training. We expect that at least 15 beneficiaries/members of the BIH NGO/CSO community, think-tankers, state- and private employees, journalists and young leaders (between 18-35 age) will be trained within the project.

Increasing the resilience of BiH’s democracy by strengthening the capacity of local NGOs and think-tanks, employees of state institutions, journalists, and young leaders in exploring, analyzing, and addressing both external and internal factors undermining its democratic cohesion as necessary preconditions for BIH’s Euro-Atlantic future, which is set as the country’s strategic goal.
