As a part of the year-long Fellowship, Fellows first participate in an intensive four -week educational program. The program provides a country and context-specific curriculum that examines historical and contemporary challenges to human rights, democracy, and inclusivity. After the four weeks, the Fellows embark on developing civil society initiatives in their own communities: the Action project.

Our programs offer an opportunity to learn about different pressing societal themes facilitated by diverse workshops, site visits, lectures, and group discussions.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to look closely at the programs of previous years to get a sense of the daily rhythm. It is our experience that this educational experience will provide the intellectual foundation through which future civic engagement can grow.
